Driver dies in Wise County crash
DPS Troopers are investigating a major accident with fatality that occurred yesterday, Thursday, at around 1PM in Wise County.
According to law enforcement, a vehicle was traveling west along Highway 114 when it left the roadway and struck a culvert near Farm to Market Road 3259. The vehicle came to rest off the highway.
The driver of the vehicle was transported from the crash scene to Medical City Denton, where she died of her injuries. She has been identified as a 65-year-old female from Chico.
There is no word on the cause of the crash.
