Driver dies in south Grand Prairie crash

The Grand Prairie Police and Fire/EMS responded to a major accident last night (Sunday) at a south Grand Prairie intersection.

Police say a 35-year-old man driving a pickup truck southbound on SE 14th Street failed to negotiate the curve in the road and crashed off the street. The vehicle struck a tree and a light pole before crashing into another vehicle on Belt Line Road.

The 35-year-old driver was killed in the crash. He was from Fort Worth. The driver of the second vehicle was not seriously injured.

The crash occurred around 9:05PM on Sunday evening. It remains under investigation at this time.
