Driver dies in single-vehicle crash along I-20 in Dallas; may have been racing other vehicles
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatality accident that occurred overnight along Interstate 20 between Hampton Road and Wheatland Road in the south Dallas area.
Deputies found that one vehicle had collided with a large metal pole along the median of the interstate. The driver was trapped inside and unresponsive.
Dallas Fire-Rescue paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced the driver deceased at 1:51AM.
