18-year-old arrested for beating his father to death at Saginaw house
The Saginaw Police Department has arrested a 18-year-old man and charged him in the death of his father, a 52-year-old male found dead in his house on Saturday evening.
Around dinnertime on Saturday, police were called to an unresponsive person at a house in the 300 block of Parkview Drive in Saginaw. The victim, publicly identified as a 52-year-old man, was deceased in one of the bedrooms. Police noticed signs of trauma and began an investigation.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office has ruled the man’s death a homicide, resulting from head injuries.
The investigation led police to issue an arrest warrant for the victim’s 18-year-old son, David Beevers. He was arrested on Monday without incident.
David Beevers is currently in the Tarrant County jail on a Murder charge. His bond is listed at $75,000.
