Security guard robbed and killed while servicing ATM at Dallas credit union
The Dallas Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a security guard at a credit union just before 9AM this morning.
Officials say the man was servicing an ATM at a credit union in the 1500 block of Cockrell Hill Road when a suspect, armed with a rifle, walked up and demanded money.
During the robbery, the suspect shot the security guard, and was seen running away with duffle bags.
Dallas Fire Rescue transported the security guard to a local hospital, but he was pronounced deceased.
Police say there was a second security guard there who was armed. His involvement in the situation was not disclosed.
