Overnight murder in downtown Dallas similar to last week’s shooting

The Dallas Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred overnight at the intersection of Harwood Street and Jackson Street in downtown Dallas.

At around 3:00AM, Dallas police responded to a shooting call and found one man suffering from a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire Rescue paramedics transported the man to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The suspect remains at large.

Detectives are also investigating a similar homicide that occurred last Sunday morning at around 5:00AM in the 300 block of Griffin Street. A 35-year-old man was shot and killed in that incident as well.
