3 people seriously hurt in Haltom City crash

The Haltom City Police Department is investigating a serious crash that occurred this evening in the 4400 block of Glenview Drive.

Just after 7:00PM this evening, a passenger vehicle and an SUV were involved in a head-on collision near the intersection of Glenview Drive and Haltom City. Preliminary reports indicate the driver of the passenger vehicle crossed over the center line and hit another car head-on.

Both occupants in the passenger vehicle were trapped in their car due to severe damage from the collision. The driver of the other vehicle was also trapped in her vehicle.

Haltom City firefighters extricated all three individuals. MedStar EMS paramedics transported all three to local hospitals with serious injuries. Haltom City PD listed their injuries as severe.

Traffic investigators are currently on the scene to investigate the crash. At this time, it is unknown why the driver of the passenger car veered into oncoming traffic.

Expect delays in the area.

Body found in bed of burning Ford pickup truck in south Dallas

The Dallas Police Department has launched a homicide investigation into the death of an individual found in the back of a burning Ford pickup truck Wednesday morning.

Dallas Fire Rescue’s Engine 24 was dispatched to a vehicle fire just after 8:00AM on Wednesday morning near the 3600 block of Sidney Street. A Ford F-150 pickup truck was found burning near the intersection of Huey Street and Sidney Street.

After the fire was extinguished, they located a dead body in the bed of the pickup truck. Officers say the pickup truck was set on fire.

“It appears the victim died of homicidal violence,” reports the Dallas Police Department. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

Two people shot, including Dallas rapper, after armed man opens fire on I35E in Dallas

The Dallas Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late this morning on the northbound lanes of I35E near Clarendon Road in the Oak Cliff area.

Just before noon, a man was driving northbound on Interstate 35E when his vehicle was approached by another vehicle, possibly occupied multiple times. As both vehicles came to a stop on the highway, the suspect got out of his vehicle armed with a gun and started walking towards the victim’s vehicle. The victim got out of his car and started running south on the highway. The armed man fired multiple shots, striking the victim at least one.

One of the shots also hit an innocent driver caught in the middle of the incident.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, but he was pronounced deceased. He has been identified as Dallas rapper Mo3, a 28-year-old man.

The innocent driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An 18-wheeler on the highway was also impacted by a gunshot.

Dallas police are still working to determine if this was a targeted attack on the rapper. They are not ruling anything out at this point in the investigation.

The shooter is still on the loose. Witnesses describe the vehicle as dark in color.

Lanes of the highway were closed while police investigated the shooting.

Driver seriously hurt in Carrollton rollover crash

The Carrollton Police Department is investigating a serious car crash that occurred on Monday morning in the northbound lanes of I35E near the President George Bush Turnpike.

Multiple emergency responders from the Carrollton Fire/EMS and PD were called to the scene around 10:30AM. Two vehicles had sustained major damage in the collision.

Traffic investigators say an SUV was driving northbound on I35E when the driver hit the right median, lost control, and overturned. When the SUV came to rest, it was then hit by another vehicle, whose driver said they could not stop in time to avoid.

Paramedics transported the driver of the SUV to a local hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

All northbound lanes of I35E were forced off the highway while police investigated the scene.

Teenager shot at southwest Fort Worth apartment complex

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 6200 block of Salem Circle last night around 8:30PM.

Multiple police were called to the scene after they received 9-1-1 calls of shots heard in the area. Officers located a 17-year-old man shot at The Parks at LeBlanc Apartments.

Investigators believe the victim was walking with his brother when they were approached by two other individuals. There was some type of encounter, leading to one of the suspects firing multiple shots. One of the gunshots struck the victim in the wrist. His wound was considered serious, according to MedStar EMS. He remains in stable condition.

Police believe the victim and his brother have had prior run-ins with the two individuals who approached them at the apartments.

The incident remains under investigation.

Store clerk and armed suspect killed after shots ring out during robbery at 7-11 in Dallas

The Dallas Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred around midnight last night at a 7-11 convenience store in the 3600 block of Forest Lane.

Dallas police say multiple individuals attempted to rob the store when shots rang out. The store clerk and at least one of the suspects were shot.

The store clerk was pronounced deceased at the scene. The suspect was transported to a local hospital with major injuries, but he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Two women, who have been identified as person(s) of interest, were detained and questioned.

The department’s homicide unit is investigating at this time.

Four people injured in east Fort Worth shooting

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred this afternoon at Smokey’s Food Mart, 5310 E. Rosedale just west of E. Loop 820.

Emergency responders were called to the scene just before 3:00PM after multiple people were shot in what may be a gang-related incident, Fort Worth police say.

Two juveniles sustained gunshot wounds to the foot and left shoulder. There were also two adult males who sustained gunshot wounds to their legs. Luckily, all are expected to survive.

Investigators are still working to determine what exactly happened. Their investigation has led them to believe it is a gang-related incident. The department’s gang unit is now involved in the investigation.

Smokey’s Food Mart was the scene of a fatal shooting back on October 6th, when a 27-year-old man was shot in the thigh and pronounced dead at JPS Hospital.

Two motorcyclists die in separate unrelated west Fort Worth area crashes

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating two separate, unrelated motorcycle crashes in west Fort Worth, each involving one fatality.

At around 3:15PM today, multiple emergency responders from White Settlement FD, PD, and MedStar EMS were called to the scene of a motorcycle accident in the 1900 block of S. Las Vegas Trail at Western Hills Blvd. Paramedics transported one motorcyclist in traumatic cardiac arrest to Harris downtown, but he was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

A few hours later around 6:15PM, Fort Worth firefighters and police officers along with MedStar EMS paramedics responded to another motorcycle accident in the 2900 block of Alta Mere Drive near Calmont Ave. CPR was reported to be in progress on the motorcyclist. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased on the scene. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the rider as a 67-year-old man.

Both crashes are currently under investigation at this time.

Speeding motorcyclist dies in crash while exiting off I-30 in Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a fatality accident involving a motorcycle that occurred around 3:00AM this morning along westbound Interstate 30 at the Linkcrest Drive exit.

Officials say a motorcyclist was speeding when the rider attempted to navigate the exit onto Camp Bowie Blvd W., but struck a curb. The rider was ejected off the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation at this time. The motorcyclist’s identity has not yet been released.

2 people killed in overnight crash on I-20 in Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred just after 2:30AM this morning in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 near Campus Drive.

Traffic investigators say a small vehicle and an 18-wheeler were involved in a collision on the highway. There were three occupants in the small vehicle, who were all injured. The driver was struck by a passing vehicle after getting out of the car, and pronounced deceased by paramedics. The other two occupants in the vehicle were transported to area hospitals with serious, potentially critical, injuries.

The driver of another vehicle involved in a secondary crash was also killed.

All eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 were closed for several hours while police documented the crash scene. At least three vehicles were heavily damaged.

The identities have not been released.
