One killed, one injured in shooting at Frisco apartment complex
The Frisco Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday evening at an apartment complex along Stonebrook Parkway.
Just before 7:30pm last night, Frisco police were dispatched to a “weapons call” at the Stewart Creek Apartments, 7549 Stonebrook Parkway. It was reported via 9-1-1 that a masked suspect had a gun and threatened to kill someone else. Multiple gunshots were heard as well.
Frisco police officers arrived at the scene within minutes. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. Another person was transported to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.
One suspect was taken into custody. Police have not yet released a motive in the killing.
The incident remains under investigation.
