[UPDATED] Eight people shot, one fatally, after dispute at Dallas nightclub
The Dallas Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead and a total of seven people injured.
At around 1:30am this morning, Dallas police officers were called to an active shooter at the PrymeBar Dallas, 10333 Technology Blvd. Dozens of police quickly responded to the scene and located eight people shot.
Dallas paramedics transported all victims to the hospital where one woman was pronounced deceased.
Officials say two groups of people were engaged in a dispute inside the nightclub. One person started firing a weapon during the dispute, and then fled the scene after the shooting.
Dallas PD are still investigating the incident.
UPDATE – Police now say eight (8) people were shot in the incident.
