Two men shot, one fatally, during fight at Kroger gas station in Irving

The Irving Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred earlier this morning at the Kroger gas station, 7505 North MacArthur Blvd.

At around 8:40am, Irving police officers were called to the area after reports of a shooting. Emergency responders located two people with gunshot wounds.

Investigators say both men were shot during a fight. It is unclear what led to the altercation.

Paramedics transported both men to Baylor Grapevine hospital, where one was pronounced deceased.

The investigation is in its early stages; therefore, additional information is not being released.

UPDATE: The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as a 41-year-old man from Flower Mound. No additional information has been released.
