Juvenile killed in Fort Worth shooting
The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday in the 1100 block of E. Baltimore Avenue.
Fort Worth police responded to a residence in the Hillside Morningside neighborhood on Saturday and found two males with gunshot wounds. MedStar EMS transported both victims to JPS for treatment of their injuries.
One of the victims was pronounced deceased at JPS. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified him as a 13-year-old male from Fort Worth.
The second victim continues to seek treatment for his injuries, according to Fort Worth police. Officials have not released information on the second victim.
Homicide detectives are actively working this case. Circumstances surround the incident are still under investigation.
