4 dead in apparent murder-suicide at Granbury home
The Granbury Police Department is investigating a shooting at a home in the 300 block of Kathy Lane.
At 2:48pm, Granbury police were dispatched to the home for a welfare check. Several officers forcibly entered the home and located the bodies of four individuals inside: a 36-year-old male, a 34-year-old female, a 13-year-old female, and 3-year-old female.
Reports indicate the adult woman was the mother of the two children. The adult man and woman were married.
All four people died from gunshot wounds, according to police. Evidence from the scene indicates it was a murder-suicide, but police continue their investigation.
“At this time, there is no evidence of anyone else being involved in this incident.”
The incident remains under investigation.
