One person killed, two injured in fiery Fort Worth crash

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred late Tuesday evening along eastbound I-20 near McCart.
At around 11:04pm, multiple emergency responders from Fort Worth FD, PD, and Medstar responded to a vehicle crash with fire on the highway. First arriving units found two vehicles with major damage, one on fire.
Preliminary details indicate a passenger vehicle rear ended an SUV. The SUV was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene. After extinguishing the fire, they located one body inside the vehicle.
Two other people, both from the SUV, were transported to Fort Worth hospitals, but their conditions have not yet been released.
All lanes of eastbound I-20 were closed for a few hours while police investigated the scene.
