Young man killed in Irving shooting
The Irving Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred overnight Sunday in the 10200 block of MacArthur Blvd.
At around 4:00am, Irving PD along with Fire/EMS responded to a possible accident at the Hyde Park Apartments, 10207 N. MacArthur Blvd. When officers arrived, they located a male with a gunshot wound laying outside of his vehicle.
Irving paramedics transported him to Baylor Grapevine hospital, but he was pronounced deceased. The Medical Examiner has identified him as a 19-year-old man.
Officials have not stated if a suspect has been arrested. The investigation is still in its early stages.
