19-year-old killed in Grand Prairie shooting
The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday evening.
At around 8:30pm, Grand Prairie police officers were dispatched to the area of SW 18th Street and Galveston Street for a shooting investigation.
When officers arrived, they located a young male with a gunshot wound to the chest. Grand Prairie paramedics transported him to Medical City Arlington, but he did not survive his injuries.
The victim has been identified as a 19-year-old man from Arlington.
The shooting is still under investigation.
