Woman shot in face after flashing high beams at another motorist in Fort Worth

At 3:44am, Fort Worth police were dispatched to the 7-11 gas station at N. Beach Street and Highway 121 for a shooting. When emergency crews arrived, they located an adult female with a gunshot wound to the face.
The woman stated she was driving on Kings Oaks Lane, a residential street just south of the 7-11, when she approached an oncoming vehicle with its high beams activated. She flashed her own high beam headlights at the other vehicle to warn them they were on. As the oncoming vehicle passed her own vehicle, she was shot in the face. She then drove to the nearby 7-11 to call 9-1-1.
MedStar EMS transported her to THR Harris Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect in custody at this time.
Fort Worth PD is investigating the incident.
