Young man dies in crash near Hudson Oaks
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatality accident that occurred Friday afternoon in the 600 block of N. Oakridge Drive near Hudson Oaks.
At around 2:45pm, Weatherford FD and Lifecare EMS responded to the single-vehicle crash on North Oakridge Drive just north of Red Eagle Trail.
A preliminary investigation of the scene indicates a pickup truck was traveling south on Oakridge Drive when the driver crashed off the roadway and into a ditch.
The driver, a 25-year-old man from Aledo, was pronounced deceased at the scene by LifeCare paramedics.
The crash remains under investigation.
