NEW: Child and teenager killed in drive-by shooting at north Fort Worth house
The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred around 2:00pm this afternoon at a house in north Fort Worth.
At 2:14pm, emergency responders from Fort Worth FD and PD along with Medstar EMS were called to a house in the 8500 block of Steel Dust Drive. When crews arrived, they found three people with gunshot wounds.
A 5-year-old and 17-year-old have been pronounced deceased as a result of this incident. An 18-month-old was shot in the leg and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say multiple suspects drove up to the house and opened fire. After firing several shots, they fled the scene. A vehicle description has not yet been released by officials.
Expect heavy police activity in this neighborhood.
