Juvenile critically hurt in road rage shooting, Dallas police say

The Dallas Police Department is investigating road rage incident that left a 14-year-old male critically injured.
At around 1:09am this morning, a 22-year-old man was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Highway 175 from Interstate 45 when he was cut off by a white pickup truck. The white pickup truck followed him down the freeway and fired a single shot into the passenger side of the truck.
A 14-year-old male sitting in the front right passenger seat was shot. He slipped unconscious shortly thereafter. The driver exited the highway and met paramedics along the service road. Dallas Fire Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white Chevy Silverado 2008-2012 model last seen traveling eastbound 175 from the I45 interchange.
