Argument over cell phone leads to shooting death of man in Lewisville
The Lewisville Police Department responded to a shooting at a home in the 900 block of Ashwood Drive at around 10:15pm Tuesday night.
When officers arrived, they located a man shot in the head. Paramedics quickly transported him to Medical City Lewisville where he was pronounced deceased. He has been identified as a 23-year-old man.
Investigators say the victim and the suspect were arguing over a cell phone when the 20-year-old suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim. Police arrested the suspect when they arrived at the scene.
The suspect has been charged with Murder. He is currently in jail on a $100,000 bond.
