Clerk, bystander shot by alleged robber at Dallas convenience store

The Dallas Police Department is hunting for the couple pictured above wanted in connection to a fatal shooting overnight.

At 12:20am, Dallas officers working on the NW side of town were dispatched to a convenience store in the 11300 block of Emerald Street for a robbery in progress. When officers arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds.

Investigators say a fight broke out in the parking lot between the alleged robber (male pictured above), the store clerk, and a bystander. During the fight, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot both the clerk and the bystander.

Dallas paramedics transported both to local hospitals, but one of them was pronounced deceased. The other remains in critical condition.

The suspect and an accompanying female fled the scene on foot.
