Pedestrian killed in Plano crash
On Monday, March 27, at approximately 6:51am, multiple emergency responders from Plano FD and PD responded to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Preston Road and Lorimar Drive.
Police say an SUV was traveling south on Preston Road and struck a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian was crossing outside the crosswalk at the time of the collision.
The 73-year-old pedestrian was pronounced deceased.
No charges are expected against the driver.
The accident remains under investigation.
