Motorcyclist killed in Covington crash
The Covington Police Department in Hill County is investigating a fatality accident that occurred late Saturday night in the 500 block of S. Main Street.
A motorcyclist and a vehicle were involved in a collision in front of the liquor store.
CareFlite ground EMS requested a CareFlite helicopter to the scene for the motorcyclist. He was airlifted to a Fort Worth trauma center, but succumbed to his injuries.
The motorcyclist has been identified as a 43-year-old Covington man.
A second individual was transported by ground ambulance to a Fort Worth hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
