Juvenile killed in shooting at Fort Worth apartments
On Monday, May 29, 2023, at about 6:29pm, Fort Worth police officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Tanna Lane, the Arwen Apartments, in reference to a shooting. Fort Worth Fire Department and MedStar personnel also responded.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a juvenile male, whom had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Homicide Unit will have responsibility for the follow-up investigation.
