Motorcyclist traveling at 120+mph seriously hurt in Mansfield crash

Today at approximately 1:15 p.m., a Mansfield police officer initiated a traffic stop on a motorcycle traveling on northbound U.S. 287 Highway at speeds in excess 120 mph.
Shortly after, the motorcycle wrecked out and slid into the median, which caused the motorcycle and operator to fall from the bridge onto Debbie Lane.
The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for his injuries. He is listed in serious condition.
It was later determined that the motorcycle was stolen out of Irving.
The crash remains under investigation.
