Man stabbed in the back at Fort Worth Taco Cabana
On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at about 8:28pm, officers were dispatched to 804 East Seminary, the Jack in the Box Restaurant, in reference to a stabbing. Fort Worth Fire Department and MedStar personnel also responded.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, an adult male, who had suffered two stab wounds to the area of the left upper back.
The victim stated that he had been at 4313 South Freeway, the Taco Cabana Restaurant, with the suspect, an adult male, and both had been involved in an verbal confrontation. The victim stated the confrontation quickly escalated to physical violence with the suspect producing a knife and stabbing the victim two times in the area of the left upper back. The victim then fled on foot to the Jack in the Box to seek medical assistance while the suspect fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a Fort Worth hospital in critical condition for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
