17-year-old killed in shooting at Raising Cane’s near Lewisville HS
At around 4:15pm this afternoon, Lewisville police were dispatched to a shooting at the Raising Cane’s fast food restaurant in the 1000 block of Main Street.
When police arrived, they located a 17-year-old male shot multiple times. He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
Officers pursued a vehicle seen leaving the area. The vehicle eventually stopped and a suspect was taken into custody.
Lewisville crime scene investigators are working through an investigation into the circumstances.
Update – Police confirm the victim was a student at Lewisville High School.
