One killed in rollover crash along PGBT in Sachse
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatality accident that occurred Thursday afternoon in Sachse.
At around 1:37pm, Sachse Fire/EMS and Police along with DPS Troopers responded to the scene of a rollover accident on the President George Bush Turnpike near Miles Road.
Investigators say a driver was traveling westbound on the turnpike when the vehicle veered off the roadway and hit the center barrier, causing a wheel to come off. The vehicle continued for six miles before the driver lost control and overturned.
The driver was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
