UPDATE: 19-year-old driver killed in south Arlington crash
On Saturday, November 25, 2023, at approximately 9:58 p.m., the Arlington Police Department, Fire Department, and EMS responded to the intersection of S. Collins Street and N. Webb Ferrell Road to investigate a crash.
A vehicle was traveling east on N. Webb Ferrell while a pickup truck was traveling south on S. Collins. Both vehicles entered the intersection and collided with one another. The driver of the vehicle was extricated by Arlington firefighters and transported to a local hospital and declared deceased. He has been identified as a 19-year-old man.
The passenger of the vehicle and the driver of the pickup truck were not injured.
Investigators are still evaluating all evidence on scene in order to determine what may have caused the crash.
