Head-on crash claims the lives of two drivers on Highway 377 near Cresson
On Sunday, January 7, at around 1:30am, multiple emergency responders were dispatched to a major accident on Highway 377 near Ranch Road between Cresson and Benbrook.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers located two vehicles with major damage.
Investigators say a 39-year-old Fort Worth man was driving a pickup truck northbound in the southbound lanes of the highway when he collided head-on with a second pickup truck. The driver of the second pickup truck was identified as a 33-year-old man from Fort Worth.
Both drivers were pronounced deceased on scene.
A 10-year-old passenger in the second pickup truck was transported to a Fort Worth hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
