One person killed in east Fort Worth shooting
At around 11:39am this morning, Fort Worth FD, PD, and MedStar EMS responded to a major accident and deceased person in the 1500 block of Sandy Lane.
Upon arrival, Fort Worth police located a deceased man with an apparent gunshot wound.
Detectives have learned that the victim was in a vehicle when witnesses say it hit a fence. Fort Worth police say a “person of interest” then entered the vehicle and drove away from the scene. It was located a short distance away.
No suspect(s) has been arrested at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
