Two motorcycles involved in Fort Worth crash; one rider killed
On Saturday, May 18, 2024 at approximately 11:42 p.m., Fort Worth PD, FD, and MedStar EMS responded to a major accident on the North Freeway (I35W) express lanes at Highway 287.
Upon arrival, officers located two motorcycles that had been involved in a collision. The driver of one of the motorcycles was pronounced deceased at the scene and the other driver was transported to an area hospital in serious but stable condition.
Traffic detectives will be handling the investigation.
All northbound toll lanes were shut down due to the accident but have since been reopened.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased one the next of kin has been identified.
