Three injured in shooting, house fire at east Arlington home

At around 5:45pm this evening, Arlington Police, Fire, and EMS responded to a home in the 800 block of Connolly Terrace to investigate a report of shots fired.

While officers were en route to the scene, they also received information that the home was on fire.

When officers arrived on scene, they located an adult woman at a neighbor’s house who appeared to have been grazed by a bullet. She was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The officers also located the suspect, an adult male, near the burning home. While pulling him to safety, an officer sustained minor burns. That officer was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He will be OK.

The suspect also sustained burn injuries and was transported to an area hospital. His condition was not released.

Arlington firefighters quickly controlled the fire, but the house sustained major damage.

The investigation is ongoing.
