Man and woman ejected, killed in Fort Worth crash
On Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at approximately 11:00 p.m., Tarrant County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a major accident in the 14000 block of U.S. Highway 287.
Upon arrival, deputies found a pickup truck upside down on the shoulder of the highway and a man laying near the vehicle. A woman was found about 20 yards from the truck. Both occupants appeared to have been killed when they were ejected from the vehicle.
Highway 287 was shut down while investigators gathered evidence and cleared the scene.
The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigations Unit is working to determine the cause of the crash.
