Domestic fight turns into deadly stabbing, Fort Worth police say
The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a domestic related homicide that occurred near the 2800 block of Thorson Ln.
On Monday, FWPD officers were called to the location in reference to a stabbing call.
Upon arrival, officers located two stabbing victims and detained a suspect.
One victim was pronounced deceased on the scene, and the second victim was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment, condition unknown.
Detectives determined that the two stabbing victims were involved in a verbal and physical altercation. One of the them stabbed the other. A third person (suspect) then stabbed the first, killing him.
The deceased victim and the suspect are related.
Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident and there is no believed threat to the general public.
Homicide detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and the suspect to determine all the circumstances surrounding this stabbing.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the manner, cause of death, and identity of the deceased.
