Ten people shot in 5 separate weekend shootings, Dallas police say

Dallas Police are investigating multiple shooting incidents over the weekend. Here is a quick recap.

On October 11, 2025, at about 8:55 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 6000 block of S. RL Thornton Service Road Nb.  The preliminary investigation determined a male victim had been shot at the location.  The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.

On October 11, 2025, at about 2:50 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3300 block of Reed Lane. The preliminary investigation determined a female victim had been shot in the leg at the location. The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

On October 11, 2025, at about 11:50 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1700 block of Haymarket Road.  The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a man had been shot in the leg.  The man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

On October 12, 2025, at about 1:30 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 8300 La Prada Drive.  The preliminary investigation determined five people were shot at the location.  Four people were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment and one person died at the scene.

On October 12, 2025, at about 4:45 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2500 block of Walnut Hill Lane.  The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found two people shot at the location.  Both were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
