Man arrested for shooting son at Keller home, police say
On Saturday, January 17, 2026, at approximately 2:10 a.m., the Keller Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at the 800 block of Western Trail.
Upon arrival, officers detained a male without incident in the front yard of a residence who indicated that he shot his adult son.
Officers also located the victim, a 27-year-old male, at a neighboring residence who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was treated at the scene and transported to Baylor, Scott, & White Medical Center – Grapevine in stable condition.
The suspect, identified as a 46-year-old man, was arrested and later booked at the Tarrant County Jail on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
