Female shot and killed at Uptown Dallas hotel

The Dallas Police Department has released additional information regarding the shooting investigation at Hotel ZaZa, 2332 Leonard Street, in Uptown Dallas.

Police said they were called to the scene of a disturbance and gunshot victim at 11:26PM last night. Upon arrival, they located the female deceased from a gunshot wound.

The preliminary investigation reveals that a 30-year-old male was involved in a disturbance with the 32-year-old female. The disturbance ultimately led to the male shooting the female.

The male was transported to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
