Driver flees scene after hitting, killing bicyclist in east Dallas
The Dallas Police Department and Fire-Rescue Department responded to a major accident last night around 10:51PM in the 6600 block of Scyene Road.
Police say a bicyclist was westbound on Scyene Road when the crash occurred. The bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. His or her identity has not yet been released.
The driver fled the scene and did not stop to render aid. Officials say the vehicle is a gray or tan pickup truck.
The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
