You’re gonna want to avoid Interstate 30 in Arlington this weekend.
The Texas Department of Transportation will be closing all main lanes of Interstate 30 in Arlington this weekend while crews continue to construct the new interchange at Interstate 30 and State Highway 360.
All eastbound and westbound lanes of I-30 will be blocked from Collins Street (Arlington) to the President George Bush Turnpike (Grand Prairie) from 7:00PM Friday, November 6th, until 7:00AM Sunday, November 8th.
Crews will be removing the northbound State Highway 360 bridge over I-30 along with a partial removal of the service road bridge.
EASTBOUND DETOUR: Vehicles will be directed off eastbound I-30 at Collins Street, south to Division Street, east Division Street to the northbound State Highway 161 service road, and back to I-30. The tolls will be suspended during the detour, so don’t worry about a tolltag.
WESTBOUND DETOUR: Vehicles will be diverted off westbound I-30 will take the opposite detour as the eastbound vehicles.
