Man shoots two people during disturbance after car crash in Oak Lawn

The Dallas Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred Friday evening in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas.

At around 9:31PM on Friday night, there was a vehicle crash in the 2900 block of Blackburn Street near North Central Expressway. Three people involved in the accident got into a verbal argument after the crash.

During the argument, a man pulled out a gun and shot the other two men involved in the crash.

Both men who were shot, identified by police as a 34-year-old and 42-year-old, were transported by Dallas Fire Rescue to a local hospital in stable condition.

The suspect remained at the scene and told officers he was the one who shot the men. He has been identified as a 30-year-old man. Police arrested him for the crime.
