Driver shot, killed in argument at Oak Cliff intersection
The Dallas Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a driver after an argument at the intersection of S. Hampton Road and W. Illinois Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 1:20pm this afternoon after two people were involved in an argument at the intersection. During the argument, one person brandished a firearm and shot the other driver. The driver then crashed his vehicle into the parking lot of the Hampton Medical Center.
Paramedics transported the critically injured man to a local hospital, but he was pronounced deceased.
A crime scene has been established in the area while investigators determine the circumstances of the shooting.
It is best to avoid the area.
