Two men shot outside Carrollton hookah lounge
The Carrollton Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred during the overnight hours outside the Kings Kafe Hookah Lounge, 1837 W. Frankford Road.
Just after 2:30am this morning, Carrollton police were called to the hookah lounge after a shootout occurred between at least two people. Investigators say the shooting followed a verbal argument inside the lounge.
Two men, a 29-year-old and 19-year-old, were both shot in the exchange. The 29-year-old is in critical condition at Baylor Dallas. The 19-year-old was treated for minor injuries and later released.
Detectives located several guns and over 40 shell casings at the scene.
Multiple eyewitnesses have been interviewed as the investigation continues.
