Irving police looking for driver who hit infant after child fell from moving vehicle
The Irving Police Department is investigating a serious accident involving an infant child that occurred earlier this morning at the intersection of N. MacArthur Blvd and Ranchview Drive.
At around 10:30am, an 8-month-old child fell from a moving vehicle and into the intersection. Details on how or why the young child fell from the car have not yet been released.
After the infant fell out of the car, a second vehicle hit the child in the intersection and continued without stopping to render aid. Police describe the possible vehicle as a black sedan.
Authorities have not stated the infant’s medical condition.
