Woman airlifted to hospital following crash near Haslet

A woman was airlifted to a Fort Worth hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 287 earlier this afternoon.
At 3:23pm, Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, Haslet Fire Rescue, and Eagle Mountain EMS responded to a crash along southbound Highway 287 near the Tarrant and Wise county line.
Emergency personnel reported two vehicles involved with major damage. A CareFlite helicopter was called to the scene and airlifted an adult woman to a local hospital with injuries. Her condition has not yet been disclosed.
Authorities say a driver lost control and hit another vehicle head-on. A total of three people were injured in the collision.
No arrests have been made and there is no evidence of a crime, according to Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.
Southbound lanes of Highway 287 were temporarily closed for a landing zone, but have since been reopened.
