Man kills wife, then shoots self in Cleburne
At approximately 2:00am this morning, Cleburne police officers responded to a shooting at a residence in the 300 block of Gatrix Avenue.
A man called 9-1-1 to report he had shot his wife. When officers arrived, they found an elderly woman deceased and the man suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The man was transported to a Fort Worth hospital in critical condition. There is no update regarding this status.
The incident remains under investigation.
