Man drowns along Flower Mound shoreline of Grapevine Lake
On Saturday, June 3, at around noon, Flower Mound FD/EMS and PD responded to the scene of a missing person in the water near Edgemere Road.
A man went under water along the shoreline and did not resurface. Firefighters from Flower Mound and Grapevine along with Texas Game Wardens and US Army Corps of Engineers all responded for search and rescue.
Emergency responders located the 27-year-old male victim in the water and performed life-saving measures on the scene and en route to the hospital, but he was pronounced deceased.
The incident remains under investigation.
