Multiple children seriously hurt in crash near Glen Rose
At around 2:30pm this afternoon, multiple emergency responders from Somervell County Fire Department, Cleburne FD, Somervell County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, and DPS all responded to a major accident on Highway 67 near County Road 308 between Glen Rose and Cleburne.
Upon arrival, it was determined that multiple children were seriously injured in the crash. At least two of them sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to Texas Health Cleburne hospital for stabilization and air transport. CareFlite and Teddy Bear helicopters both airlifted patients into Fort Worth from THR Cleburne.
The third child was transported to Fort Worth via ground ambulance.
At last update from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, all three children are still alive and receiving treatment at a Fort Worth hospital.
