17-year-old fatally struck by vehicle in Burleson
The Burleson Police Department is investigating a fatality accident on Wilshire Blvd.
At 12:45 a.m. this morning, Burleson FD and PD along with MedStar EMS responded to a major accident in the 3500 block of SW Wilshire Blvd, just in front of Anytime Fitness.
Police say an 18-year-old was driving on Wilshire when they struck a 17 year old pedestrian.
The driver remained on scene, called 911 and rendered aid. The driver showed no signs of intoxication.
The victim was transported to a Fort Worth trauma center, but pronounced deceased.
The accident remains under investigation.
