One person killed in crash on 114 in Westlake
At 12:03am this morning, multiple agencies responded to a crash on westbound Highway 114 just west of Trophy Club Drive.
Authorities say a passenger vehicle was traveling along Highway 114 when it struck the back of an 18-wheeler parked on the shoulder of the highway.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police say the victim is around the age of 25.
All lanes of westbound Highway 114 were closed for several hours while crews investigated the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
